I think a list of people who can and are willing to craft for the FC would be useful as people are still buying things they did not know can be made for less!

Hello, I can do pretty much anything except the 4 star stuff. I am in the process of getting all my crafts the off hand artisans tools, only got a few left. that tool is the best bang for your buck right now. Also I can gather anything, both miner and botany is pretty much maxed for stats, just let me know what you need:)

Is there a way to turn your crafter signature off items?

I often get abusive tells from people I am undercutting and I can only Blist so many (so many morons so little space on the naughty list you know?) but w/e this I can deal with

But now I have a large group of people buying up all my things and reselling them.
Personally I think they are trying to control and bully the high end crafting market (flooding the MB and driving ppls prices down before buying theirs then taking them back up to the start price for example)

I really don't want my name in with their retainers that aren't mine. For one this will probably lead ppl to sending me abuse even more and also thinking that I am involved in this racket. I have worked hard to establish myself as a legit crafter on our server, not a spammer/ RMT / bot ect and this is not good.
I have heard of this on other servers but not ours before and I hope its not the start of this 'undercut us and we will drive you out of buisness' BS

I have spoken to a few other friendly craft competitors and it is happening to them also.Its really bothering us. I know we cant stop them buying our stuff but can we at least remove our names from their grabby little ways?

I've heard that if you mail it to someone or trade it, then the name dissapears? Not sure, maybe try it with Arch and then have him sell it? Or mail it, mail back see if your name is still on there.

Everything I've been traded with someone's name on it still has their name on it.

The only thing I would suggest is to form up an LS with the friendly crafters and get a server reputation going of being legit, and not in league with these dastardly devils. Unless a mechanic is introduced by SE, the only way to combat it is legitimisation on a server community level outside the MBs.

That LS sounds like a nice idea! Maybe with a bit of help, Sky can kick it off herself since she's a lot bigger in the crafting world than the rest of us probably are.

In the meantime though, I'm trying to nail down some facts on crafter signatures, if a way exists to remove them, if SE has any plans for an item to remove/prevent them, etc. If I find anything interesting, I'll make sure to post it.

lol srsly though I don't have the time to set up and run something like this, especially with all the FC stuff. But if someone wanted to start one I would be happy to join and help out/ give w/e small knowledge I have stored in my peanut brain to others.

Just a caution though, most I have seen end up as either trying to rule the MB like the people I am having trouble with or, just a lot of ppl asking you to make stuff and not giving back, so be careful :) but! if someone does set this up and it doesnt end up with 500 ppl I will join :)
