Hey all! I figured I'd create this thread as a place to discuss strategies, post information, etc etc… For any of the EX primals we need to clear.

Several from our group recently cleared Leviathan EX, and most of us had already downed Garuda EX… Today we turn our focus to Titan EX, and so I leave you with a video (if that's your sort of thing), that's helped me get to at least the Gaolers stage consistently.

From what I understand, this one is a bit of a DPS race (at the end), but here's a video from our friend MTQ :)

Question: Why do this and not coil turns? Easier? Smaller group? Good stuff?

Coil turns is a project in the works, but it defintely takes a lot more planning, especially once second coil is reached.

I am thinking of starting coil for the FC next week, so let me know if you are interested.

Everyone is at diff stages, some at T9, some at the start so this would be from the start, enabling people to enjoy the story/ cutscenes ect.

T1-4 are a joke so would not take us long. At 5 it gets more tricky so will need to watch videos. Post T5 will prob need mumble but we can use the FC one if its not playing up lol

Our main trouble is getting people on at the same time due to work/ kids/ ect, so let me know what times you are most likely free and would work for you :)

I don't know how much we will get done with 3.0 on the horizon but have had a few people asking and I am sure we can clear a good amount if we don't have to keep use the dreaded duty finder. Our FC is certainly better than PUGS and the horror show we seem to have with random people, so lets be confident!.

If you are interested get in touch with me or Arch ingame or on here with times, preferred classes, ect.

You are probably already aware that I've been hankering for Coil since the day I joined the LS ='D

I have never set foot into it, so I'll need to start at turn 1. You know my setup, I can bring WHM, PLD, BLM, BRD, hell I could even bring DRG if we were in dire need of melee DPS (though I doubt that'll ever happen). WHM or BLM would be my preferred choices.

You also know my online times already, though for Coil I'm willing to stay up a little longer :)

We're looking at getting Coil set up starting this week. All suggestions and feedback are appreciated :)

I agree with Jan that Fridays would probably be good because it means we can get a few of the UK/EU folk involved that way. We want everyone to have fun and enjoy the challenge, and the more FC members we have involved in this, the smoother it will be to progress through the turns as a unit.

Given the above, we'd need to move Fishfest Fridays, perhaps to a "Sushi Sundays" or something :) I'll have to speak with Alexis and see what works!

We would absolutely be starting at turn 1, and not be skipping any unless collectively it was decided to skip (for example you may want to skip turn 3 as there is no fight, it's just a pain in the ass jump puzzle and you don't even get a CS at the end, I was pretty pissed when I discovered this lol). By starting at the beginning we can ensure the most people possible are on the same page, not to mention it further develops the teamwork skills necessary to clear the harder turns.

lol disregard me, if I can come to coil it would be a small miracle given the time needed and preparation. If I can come, I'll be sure to read up, etc., but if I can't devote that time I'll just fish.
