I think Anjiro said something about Law tomes that give you i170 gear, which you upgrade to 180 from hunts or something. He's probably the man to know and all things gear, anyway.

Yes but, there's that weekly cap to the law tomes, I roughly figured it out and from expansion start theres no way you can get enough law tomes to outfit and equip every one of your slots.So this gear is dropping from somewhere else too.

Nvm, I didn't realize you could spend them and the replenish them again. I always figured the weekly cap was all you could get. Why even bother having a cap lol

My guess is the 2000 cap is simply a set number in their code/database back from when they first implemented tomestones and they aren't changing it because it messes with some coding here or there.

But yeah, you can get as many tomestones as you want, and while the Hunt items to upgrade the tomestone gear are expensive, if you actively grind A and S ranks, you can have it all in a matter of days.
