Hey, Meow here again! I've been away from the community for a while but I'm trying to come back and I can't! lol
I'm having multiple problems and maybe one of you guys can help me out since googling is being unhelpful.
1) My Heavensward pre-order code doesn't work on the PSN store. I've seen a lot of things about this code not working on PS4 (which is what I have) but all those discussions are from last month. Have they still not fixed it even after release?
2) I can't log into the game at all. I registered Heavensward and put in the disc but when I start it up it gets trapped in a loop of 'unable to complete systems check'
I know the PS4 version has had some problems but I've been unable to tell if these known issues are still around, or if I'm just having unique problems.
Why don't you try downloading it instead. It sounds like theres something wrong with the disc, There was a news item about that, I'll see if I can find it.
Sorry your having so much trouble:( One other thing you could try if you haven't already and I know this is a pain is to do a complete default reset of your ps4. It like starting from scratch when it was new.
Well I feel your pain, I can't get this stuff to work to save my life. That's way I get my wife to do it. What and she doesn't yell to the tech's like I do, she get a lot more done then I.
Haven't been back here in quite a while, because in addition to me being very busy, I didn't want to provide an official update until I was sure what was going to happen. Anyway, an explanation:
After over a month of getting in contact with tech support whenever I had the chance, they basically told me that even though I could play the game completely fine beforehand, my internet connection was just not powerful enough to handle the game after the Heavensward update.
I'm not going to call it quits forever, after all I did drop 120 bucks on the Heavenward collector's edition and it laughs at me every time I see it on my shelf, but for the moment I have cancelled my subscription. I'm working three jobs right now so that my wife doesn't have to work while she gets her masters degree, and I don't have much time for any games anyway.
It's a damn shame, but I will definitely one day return, and with a stronger internet connection apparently. I wanted to thank you all, and Maestro especially, for the great amount of patience and concern involved with trying to get me back in. I will not forget it.
