Apologies for my Absence

Hello hello! Good to see you all again. Or at least your avatars. :D

I apologise for not having let anyone know up til now, but as you may have noticed I was away for no small amount of time, and I can only apologise profusely for this. There is a reason for my absence, but I don't want to drag anyone down into the realms of depression unless they really want to know, so consider this a warning. I will put the information below, but it sucks.
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS DEPRESSING. IT SUCKS.

Unfortunately, around October of last year, my step-father was admitted into hospital with pains in his side, and after the pain intensified, he was taken back into hospital and they performed surgery to remove a significant amount of his intestines. This was routine, and they would have gone on to reverse the operation at some point down the line. However, during the operation they discovered a growth… or several of them, in fact, and performed tests on a growth they cut away during the operation.
It was confirmed that my Pa had cancer, and unfortunately, it was terminal. The growths, having affected his lymph nodes, have spread throughout his entire body, causing a lot of issues.
As of today, he has finally been discharged from hospital after a two month stay, during which his doctors failed to identify his body no longer could process lactose, giving him food that was making him throw it back up hours later, and it was only when I myself intervened that they stopped… only for him to be given medication the next day which contained more lactose. …It has been arduous.

So hopefully, now, things should calm down a bit with my pa being back home where we can look after him and make sure he gets what he needs, and I can do things again, including playing with you guys! :D

In other news, I decided to change my surname to my step-father's, and I gave him the paperwork for it on his birthday :D - It made him cry. …out of happiness.
