Lightning shards are problematic in that I have not found a great way to get them. I have only had Lightning Sprites give up 1 or 2 after killing 5 of them and mining them you only get 1 per which is the fastest way I know. Still the recipes are unbalanced with two time the shards to stuff to do most crafts but one to one with harvesting/mining things. It may take some time, any one know a better way?
