Just wanted to let you know I took over the ship stuff briefly to get the last sector found and sent them all out to get the Diadem hm discovered for you guys…

Pardon my (usual and expected) ignorance here. I see that we have several airships and now as of 12 hours ago, all sectors seem to be explored. I'm looking at the list of "rewards" for going on voyages, but I'm failing to understand what there is to gain from all this work.

Is it just for "fun" while SE works on more legitimate uses for airships? Or are there amazing awesome things that you're getting from this? I'm using the word "you're" because I have not been much help. If you ARE getting amazing things - what are they? Materia? Furniture? Weapons and armor parts? And, if that's the case, how do we as members place bids or whatever on this stuff?

Right now it seems like a ton of time and gil going into something that isn't producing a tangible return. Can someone shed some light?

Okay lets try and shed some light on your questions/issues. Everything that the airships have brought back over time has either went in the fc chest or as mats to build the other ships. Arch's alt has quite a few items also as there isn't much room in the fc chest obviously. Currently there really isn't that much work involved other then sending them out. Also the ships have made the FC right around 3.5 million give or take.

And you don't have to bid on anything Alexis the items in the chest are for all fc members to use and take as they see fit. Pretty much all the materia in the chest has come from the airships.

As far as a ton of time and gil, if you mean building the ships that was pretty much done by myself Xan, Rom, And various other fc members. All the mats were either gathered by myself and Xan, other members or fc members donated alot of their seals also to buy mats needed.So really not much gil has been involved in that aspect if thats what you meant?

When the ships all come back this last time hopefully Diadem hm will be "found". The ships have also been accessible to any fc members. So when they are done now go ahead and send them out to whatever, wherever you want:) If you see in the guide it gives you a run down on what is found in various sectors but I warn you RNG is involved.

I will buy some more fuel tanks and put in the chest so theres enough to do whatever you or anybody desires. And theres also 99 fuel tanks in there for you todo the Diadem missions if you desire.

And lastly if I've offended anyone or seems like I''ve over ed on the ships that wasn't my intention. My intentions have always been towards the advancement and betterment of the FC. And yes I did get a bit discouraged awhile back…

Okay one of the ships found Diadem hard mode so everything is complete, the ships are done and can be sent anywhere anytime by anyone:)

Just wanted to let everyone know I've been using one of the ships to try and round me up some craftsmanship and control materia for my tool and gear melds. These will be used for melding on my own gear and not sold for profit. Anything that the ship brings back that I don't need I'll put in the FC chest.
