Hello to all active FC Members :)

As most of you already know are Anjiro and me the new FC leaders and we would like to help our FC to bring it back to a more active community.

To help the FC become more active and more known on Balmung we would like to make some changes.

The first change will be to rename the FC since some members asked for it (Mae <3) and Anjiro and me also think it would be a good beginning.

So with this post I would like to call out everyone to be creative and give us your ideas on how to name our FC.

How will it work?

Everyone is able to post 1 suggestion on a new name with some further information:

1. Full FC Name
2. Short Form of the Name
3. Why this name? History? What is the idea behind it?

Please make sure that the name is not taken on Balmung (you can test it with help of the Lodestone).

You will have time until Friday the 24th June 2016 6:00 pm GMT.

After that we will open an poll with all names where every member is able to vote for his favorite name.

The next step after the renaming will be the adjustment of the FC rank names to let them fit the new FC name.

Maybe we will also create a new FC website but that it not sure right now.

I hope these first changes are ok with everyone.

Let us create a good home for every old and new member :)

Hello y'all,

This is my suggestions on a new FC Name (long time planned :) ):

1. Name
Genji

2.Short Form
Genji (cause it fits perfect :) )

3. Idea behind it and history

a. Why this name?
Chiffi and me had a FC named Genji in the 1.0 version of FFXIV and we only have good memories about this time. I think that we can create a strong, helpful and friendly community under this name.

b. History
The Minamoto clan is also called the Genji clan. Minamoto clan was one of the surnames bestowed by the Emperors of Japan upon members of the imperial family who were demoted into the ranks of the nobility.

c. History in Final Fantasy
Genji equipment, also known as samurai equipment, is a recurring set of heavy armor that appears in almost all Final Fantasy games. Genji equipment is always either the best or one of the best sets of equipment, available in limited supplies. It is usually obtained (or stolen) from the recurring boss Gilgamesh. It is described as armor from a faraway land, and consists of a shield, helm, gloves and Armor. The sword of the set, Genji Blade or Genji Katana, also appears on occasion but not as often as the rest of the set.

My creativity needs to come back to me, but I will think on a suggestion to offer up. xD

I like maes idea also! Genji for short.
